FosterClips helps animal rescue organizations collect photos and videos of foster pets and share them to get animals adopted. We collect only what that mission needs, and we never sell personal information.

What we collect

• Rescue accounts: organization name, contact details, and account emails for the rescue's staff.
• Foster family contact info: names and mobile numbers, provided by the rescue, used solely to text upload links and reminders. Phone numbers are encrypted at rest; opt out any time by replying STOP.
• Pet media: photos and videos foster families choose to upload, stored privately and used to create adoption content for the rescue.
• Adoption inquiries: name, email, optional phone, and message you submit on a pet's public page — delivered to that rescue.
• Instagram connection (optional): if a rescue connects its Instagram professional account, we store the account username, account id, and an access token (encrypted at rest) solely to publish content that the rescue explicitly chooses to post. We do not read direct messages, followers, or private data.

How we use it

To operate the service: syncing adoptable-pet listings, texting upload links and reminders, assembling photos/videos into adoption reels and carousels, showing public adoption pages the rescue enables, and publishing to social accounts the rescue connects. No advertising profiles, no data sales, no unrelated use.

Sharing

We never sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in consent, or any other personal information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging consent is used only to deliver the foster reminders you signed up for, and is never shared with anyone.

Media and pet info appear publicly only where the rescue chooses (their public adoption page, embed widget, or connected social accounts). Service providers we rely on: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, email), Twilio (SMS), Meta/Instagram (publishing, when connected). Each receives only what its function requires, and may not use your information for any other purpose.

Deletion & your choices

• Foster families: reply STOP to any text to end messages; ask your rescue to remove your info — removal deletes contact details permanently on request.
• Rescues: disconnect Instagram at any time in Settings (this deletes the stored token), and may delete uploads, animals, families, or the whole account.
• Instagram data deletion: removing FosterClips from your Instagram account's Apps & Websites settings triggers automatic deletion of the stored connection, or email us below.
